TPMS Service in Moreno Valley
TPMS is your tire pressure monitoring system — the horseshoe-shaped warning light on your dash. A steady light means a tire is low on air. A light that flashes for about a minute at startup and then stays on means a system fault, usually a sensor with a dead battery. Sensors are not rechargeable; the sensor gets replaced.
TPMS Prices
- $60 per sensor — shop-supplied sensor, installed and programmed, with a 3-month warranty
- $15 per tire — installation of a customer-supplied sensor (installation only, no programming — compatibility with our tools is not guaranteed; Chevys are the easiest)
Practical tip: have sensors handled while your tires are being mounted, since the tire has to come off the wheel anyway — or come in first so we can scan each wheel and find the silent sensor.
Why Not Just Ignore the Light?
A working TPMS is your early warning for the slow leak that becomes a freeway flat. If the system has a dead sensor, it cannot warn you about a genuinely low tire. Diagnosis is a quick scan of each wheel — call 951-653-2869 and we will find out which sensor it is.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost to replace a TPMS sensor at ABC Tire Wholesale?
A shop-supplied TPMS sensor is $60 installed and programmed, with a 3-month warranty. If you bring your own sensor, installation is $15 per tire (installation only, no programming).
What does a flashing TPMS light mean?
If the TPMS light flashes for about a minute when you start the car and then stays on, the system has a fault — most commonly a sensor with a dead battery. The sensor is replaced, not recharged. Call 951-653-2869 for a scan.
Can you program my TPMS sensor?
Yes — shop-supplied sensors are installed and programmed for $60 with a 3-month warranty. Customer-supplied sensors are installation only ($15 per tire) because their compatibility with our programming tools is not guaranteed.
